{"id":4443,"date":"2021-03-08T23:48:11","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T22:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.railway-models-and-art.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4443"},"modified":"2021-03-08T23:48:11","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T22:48:11","slug":"gcr-class-5a-motor-decisions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.railway-models-and-art.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4443","title":{"rendered":"GCR Class 5A Motor decisions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Things have been quietly progressing with the Class 5A and\nthe number of etched parts is diminishing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other thing I have been considering is the motor\nposition and I have been trialling fitting it to the middle axle which would\nremove the need to chop some out of the brake cross beam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By nibbling some of the boiler\/firebox former away it has\nallowed the motor to slip inside and run without any apparent issues.
